Overall, I enjoyed this book and thought Lancaster's tortured past made for quite a surprise. I liked Volume 2 better than Volume 1. Age appropriate YA literature at its best. It is interesting to see that the writer really taps into relationships wraped around the concept of a murder mystery. Cambridge University. Maya in another time would be considered a hippie. The bulk of this book covers Stewart's stay in England, his relationships with fellow crew members, who dealt daily with fear, loneliness, mud, and bitter cold. Bought it for our 3 yr old son.

Dr. Veith has done an excellent job of discussing the doctrine of vocation. I am continually amazed at his ability to take a difficult topic and write so that anyone can understand....
