lot and cannot swim across the Atlantic he has to find another way home. He takes an Armed, Computerized Patrol Boat and heads north from Djibouti up the coast and around India, across to Burma and down the Siamese Peninsula back up the other side past Vietnam, China and Russia to the Bearing Straits. There it is only sixty miles across the Straits to Alaska where he follows the coast down to Washington. There he gets another vehicle and starts across country to Jacksonville. He finds out that roughly ten percent of the world's population is still alive. With no law enforcement left and all the world's weapons just laying around for anyone to pick up, chaos reigns. He finds out that the Journey Home is going to take a lot longer than he thought.
